Working as an AI designer and artist, I often met people who were curious about generative AI but unsure where to begin. I wanted AI literacy to extend beyond technical expertise and become something that anyone could develop within their own field. Co-authoring this book was one way of lowering that barrier-introducing Midjourney not simply as a tool, but as a new creative medium, while encouraging readers to use AI thoughtfully and responsibly in their own practice.
