Dead End Gallery

Since 2024, I have been collaborating with Dead End Gallery, the world’s first AI-focused gallery based in Amsterdam. I have participated in several of its exhibitions, including Ceci n’est pas AI and Art Alive, which received coverage in the Dutch press. More than a gallery, Dead End has become a global community at the forefront of AI art, bringing together pioneering artists who experiment with new tools, methods, and ways of thinking. Within this network, I have been actively exploring new paradigms of AI art and reflecting on its role in reshaping both artistic practice and cultural imagination.

Works

Silence

When utilizing AI in my work, I frequently reflect on the blurred boundary between reality and unreality. As we enter an era where images are increasingly difficult to trust, I have consistently explored this intersection. Through my exploration of ‘unreality that appears real’ and ‘reality that seems unreal,’ I sought to encapsulate this ambiguity in the Silent project. At first glance, the image may resemble a photograph taken from real life, yet the faintly visible wings subtly indicate that this work resides outside the realm of reality.

Bowie

As an AI artist, I am deeply fascinated by the exploration of imperfection as an aesthetic, using artificial intelligence as my medium. By embracing imperfection, I seek to unlock new forms of artistic expression and creative freedom. My first exploration of this concept was an AI-driven reinterpretation of David Bowie’s imagery. With this work, I aimed to explore the surreal fusion of sports, music, and the philosophy of pressure through AI. The piece distorts a fleeting moment in a tennis match, breaking down the athletes’ movements into an intricate, almost otherworldly rhythm - one that captures both tension and fluidity while preserving the unmistakable silhouette of David Bowie. Inspired by Bowie’s ever-evolving identity and experimental visual language, this piece embodies the transformative potential of AI in art - reshaping reality, distorting form, and reimagining movement. The concept is further reinforced by Billie Jean King’s philosophy, “Pressure is a privilege,” underscoring how tension and challenge serve as catalysts for growth and peak performance.
